Trimming & Tree Care
Tree Inspection in Portsmouth, VA
An honest look at whether your tree is healthy, needs care or should come down, with no pressure either way.

Overview
How we handle tree inspection
A lot of people call because a tree 'just doesn't look right.' We walk around it, look at the trunk, root flare, canopy and surroundings, and check for decay, cracks, fungus, leaning and dieback. Then we tell you plainly what we see and what, if anything, should be done.
Sometimes the answer is to leave it alone. Sometimes it is a trim. Occasionally it is removal. Either way, you get a straight answer, which is especially useful before buying a home or after a big storm.
Serving Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Hampton, Newport News, Smithfield, Williamsburg, Yorktown and Poquoson.

More in Trimming & Tree Care
Do you charge for a tree inspection?
A basic look while we are quoting work is free. If you need a written report for a sale, HOA or insurer, ask and we will tell you what is involved.
Can you tell if a tree is hollow?
Many signs of internal decay show on the outside, like cavities, fungus and soft wood at the base. If we are unsure, we will say so.
Are your estimates really free?
Yes. No charge and no pressure to book. You get a straight answer and a firm price.
Do you clean up and haul everything away?
Yes. Cleanup is part of the job: brush chipped, wood hauled and hard surfaces blown off. If you want firewood or wood chips left behind, just ask.
