Trimming & Tree Care
Tree Limb Removal in Portsmouth, VA
Single limbs, heavy leaders and dead branches removed and roped down safely, without taking the whole tree.

Overview
How we handle tree limb removal
Sometimes the tree is fine but one limb is not. It might be dead, cracked, hanging over the bedroom or reaching for the service drop. Removing one big limb is still serious work, because it can weigh hundreds of pounds and has to come down without hitting anything.
Our climber ties off the limb, cuts it in pieces and lowers each one by rope. We cut back to the right spot so the tree heals well, then clean up.
Serving Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Hampton, Newport News, Smithfield, Williamsburg, Yorktown and Poquoson.

More in Trimming & Tree Care
Can you remove a limb hanging over from my neighbor's tree?
In Virginia, you can generally trim branches that cross onto your property up to the property line, as long as you do not harm the tree. It is good practice to talk with your neighbor first.
Is a hanging limb an emergency?
A broken limb caught in the canopy, sometimes called a hanger, can fall at any time. Keep people away from under it and call us right away.
Are your estimates really free?
Yes. No charge and no pressure to book. You get a straight answer and a firm price.
Do you clean up and haul everything away?
Yes. Cleanup is part of the job: brush chipped, wood hauled and hard surfaces blown off. If you want firewood or wood chips left behind, just ask.
